Getting here
There are direct trains from London St Pancras (high-speed, about 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 20 minutes) and London Victoria (about 1 hour 20 to 1 hour 35). Whitstable station is a 10 to 12 minute walk from Thames House. Check times with the operator before you travel.
Check in from 4:00 PM on Friday with self check-in at any hour, and check out by 10:00 AM on Sunday. Ask us about a late check-out: it may be possible by arrangement.
A simple weekend
- Friday: arrive, drop your bags and walk down for an evening on the harbour
- Saturday: Harbour Street’s independent shops, oysters for lunch and sunset on the beach
- Sunday: a walk along Tankerton Slopes, or out to The Street at low tide
